Membership

Visit with PLO
Visitors must be members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Visiting members are welcome to
attend a meeting to engage with our chapter and learn more about Phi Lambda Omega. Sorors desiring to visit are asked to register here.

Reactivate
Phi Lambda Omega welcomes existing Alpha Kappa Alpha members, who have been inactive for one year or more, to reactivate your membership with our Sisterhood. The process is very simple---one form and the applicable dues and fees. Members who wish to reactivate with Phi Lambda Omega Chapter should complete the Graduate Chapter Reactivation Form (attached below). The completed form can be submitted to the chapter Membership Chairman.
Transfer
Transferring into Phi Lambda Omega from an undergraduate chapter, another graduate chapter or General membership is seamless! The transfer process is now electronic. Navigate to your member profile on the corporate website. Click on “transfer” on the left side of the page. Once you click submit, the electronic transfer process will begin. Once the process is complete, the Membership Chair will contact you for payment of applicable fees.

Chapter Meeting Information
If you are a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, we would love to have you join us at our
regularly scheduled chapter meetings, which begin promptly at 4:00 PM on the third Sunday of each month,
excluding June and July. Our meetings are in-person and the attire is business.
Becoming a Member
The Sorority’s official graduate Membership Experience (ME) is by invitation only through one of our
local graduate chapters and may not be solicited. Please refer to our International website for more
information at AKA1908.com
